Make The Most Of Your Training Time!

Most people don’t get the results they want in the gym because they don’t load their working sets appropriately during strength training, which limits their gains.

Work Set can be defined as: A challenging weight for the desired number of repetitions.

If there are 3 working sets for a particular exercise, what you tend to see is

(Set 1)Is too light… (may as well be a warmup set)

(Set 2) - Is moderate, but not very challenging and the thought is …

                 “I can do more”.

(Set 3)Is challenging and you’re left thinking “this is just right”.

The problem here is now you’ve wasted time with weights that were “too light” and you’ve missed out on a larger quantity of high quality work!

A simple solution here is to use straight sets - which means AFTER your warm up sets, you choose a challenging weight that you can complete for ALL 3 working sets.

Then… Track your weights and you’ll know exactly where to start your next session!

Make note again of your weights used, and have another guide for the following training!

This is how you make the most of your time during strength training!
